Trying to film some promo vids outside Vancouver in Coquitlam BC, got harrassed by the CN Police.
Turns out that it's illegal to be on any land with a railroad track! This cop was a DICK! lol

No! Railway tracks, trestles, yards and equipment are private property. Walking or playing on them is illegal. Trespassers are subject to arrest and fines.

Yeah unfortunately nobody actually knows that until they are told, since you would think a written warning for people that don't know would of sufficed instead of demeaning comments, lack of answers and detaining in an supposedly unsafe area, then suggesting an embankment be climbed to go over a railing onto an overpass. A sign would of sufficed as well. We later found a sign about 100 yards away, on the illegal side of the tracks. In other words a crime had to be committed before knowing you weren't supposed to be there. Clearly the railway safety act is not common knowledge.
