iunno if this should go to off topic forum but yeah.

my favourite restaurant is a vietnamese restaurant in surrey called pho tau bay on 148 street
theres a donair place beside it too thats pretty good

and there used to be these bomb ass spots by my old highschool burnaby south. dunno if there still around, but would mos def eat there if im in the neighborhood.

Babylon Cafe on Robson is always good even though their servings aren't as big as they used to be. Then there's Takis Taverna on Davie, I love that place.

I'm no culinary expert, but I know when I want decent food for cheap when I'm high and it's late, I hit up:

Matsuyama late night menu sushi (Richmond) or if it's earlier hit up Deer Garden for taiwanese food 2nd floor upstairs across the street.
Congee Noodle House (Broadway/ Main) or Congee Noodle King (Kingsway/ Joyce)
Duffins for Tortas (or every other imaginable cuisine)- 24 hrs (41st/ Knight)

Oh, i forgot pho- if it's late I'll hit up gold train on Kingsway, but usually it's pho hoang in burnaby. spring rolls and a huge bowl of pho for 8.50

theres a white buffet beside metrotown called uncle willys its pretty amazing

How long is it supposed to take to make Pho? All they need to do is put all the ingredients together. Everything is ready to go with the exception of some places slicing the meat just before serving.

Zukkushi's is a pretty good Izakaya but a bit pricey. Saong Hong's in east Van is good for Pho if you are in Vancouver.

For cheap it's all about VIET SUB on Robson. Always grab one on the way to study. Can't beat their prices.

My favortie spots:

Stepho's- Davie st. Greek food, fucking amazing, cheap, and filling have to wait in line though 99% of the time.
Azia- By Paramount Theatre, REALLY good chinese food and sushi, sort of an upscale asian restaraunt.
The Wear house- Granville st. good bar type food, everything of the menu is $4.95 with pretty big proportions.

Also like White spot (lol), Babylon and the Eatery said before.
