anybody got any tailor recommendations or places to avoid for hemming jeans in vancouver? thinkin of getting an original hem for my N&Fs.

A lot of people say Albert's Tailor Alterations located downtown (712 Robson Street #1) is pretty good but I also hear he's stuck in the old-fashioned fit so it might be difficult to say get a taper or something taken in.

I hear Stitch It in Richmond Centre Mall does a good job.

albert's been hemming/tapering/repairing all my jeans, took in the sleeves for one of my jackets and did a fantastic job every single time

and he does chainstitching

I got a pair of 501XX tapered down the inseam for $24 I think.. and $12 for a crotch blowout repair, both done wonderfully.

taper + hem + repair on a button and a little knick + taking in the sleeves of a jacket cost like 60 all together

recent repair cost 20.. reinforced crotch area and restitching some broken stitches
