why did they close? was it lack of sales?
The sneaker game has changed massively from where it was in 2003-08. It probably didn't help that the Canadian dollar got stronger, so more peeps headed to eBay and other online venues to grab stuff. I felt that it got too big too fast. Not only did Goodfoot go deadpool, but so did North trooper, Cartel and Stolen Riches.

was there last saturday, and the new pop up shop at goodfoot was bad. made the other 3 stores look bad. they tried to sell the lumberjack flannels and such, but everything in the shop looked used/2 nd hand. just a odd shop to be next to nomad.

Unless they sell stuff for less than 80% of the retail price I'd just rather buy new stuff on sale. It's kinda disgusting wearing other dudes clothing and ish you know lol.

I used to love Gdft, but service in Gastown was much better than Calgary's. I was honestly a bit disappointed with the atmosphere of the shop in Calgary.

Bummer to hear that, hadn't been for a trip to the Toronto store in probably over a year. Hoping Nomad doesn't die out as well.

I never bought much from Goodfoot but I still do miss it. My favourite thing I ever bought there was a pair of David Beckham Adidas Gore Tex Boots.

Hard to find good kicks these days. Livestock is ok but their Toronto branch gets all the heat.

these shops cant keep up shoe prices online - need to add some exclusive clothing so it makes people wanna come in and try shit on...everyone knows what size there foot is for a pair of nikes, NB etc....
