WE GOTTA SUPPORT OUR LOCAL INDEPENDENTS!!!! Don't buy at Nike Bloor or FL/Champs when you can get the same kicks at the same price from C-apsule/Livestock or any other shops outside Toronto.

Employee Appreciation Weekends are very tempting when something good is around.

haha.

Ah its ok, I have enough shoes for only 2 feet.
But I gotta say, dudes gotta man up and take care of shit like this before they end up closing.
Goodfoot wasnt exactly a joy to shop in, so cant say I'll miss it. Cant coast a business forever.

my two cents (and 80 fuckign dollars)
Jun 26, 2010 @ 12:24
Yeah I bout a bunch of my kicks there. If you wanna purchase some former Goodfoot product, I'm throwing up a near mint pair of J5 Grapes up in the Lower Mainland Buy n Sell thread blushing Seems like the store closing is coinciding with my decision finally to change my look and get outta the game....whew!
Jun 29, 2010 @ 17:03
it strived when everyone wanted to be a "sneakerhead" now everyone is getting out of the sneaker phase and the true sneaker collectors wasn't enough to keep it afloat
Jul 03, 2010 @ 12:29
There's still some nice places to get sneakers though. And I'm pretty sure there's a Bloor STreet store that carries some of what Goodfoot used to carry.

Its true. It was a great store, but ran horribly. Always seemed to treat customers like trash. Remember I wanted to try on a shoe once, and regretted that lol. Trying to get in during a sale was always a pain too. Never fun waiting hours only to see like 5 people looking around.

I did enjoy walking down Queen and being able to stop by GDFT and check out what was new. Never bought anything but I made a few purchases from Stussy & RNSM that I still love.

R.I.P GDFT.

Does anyone know why they closed? Was business not doing good?
Sep 05, 2010 @ 13:46
i think just cuz canada has such a poor market for like sneaker heads

Goodfoot wasn't on Queen?
Sep 06, 2010 @ 13:22
probably cause business wasn't doing that great

Because you can make alot more money owning a bar than a sneaker shop where kids "stop by to look at whats new"

Ransom is next... Been loving their stuff lately but the store always looks dead since they just been stocking there brand only
Sep 11, 2010 @ 07:24
its the bad marketing and all, expanding too quickly... they opened more than 3 stores in just less than a year and some of the locations are at hick towns.... honestly who goes there
Sep 11, 2010 @ 21:16
st.claire location was bad. the yorkville one is the best shop in my opinion, but not sure that is the location for streetwear.
