How to pre-order from Footlocker/Champs?

best bet is just to go up the counter ask for the manager and converse from there.
I heard that they really don't do pre-oreders but it doesn't hurt to ask.

They'll do pre-orders on anything they're confirmed to get. They can normally even order in a size for you.
Walk up to counter, explain situation. Pay, done deal.

preorder is easy at Footlocker...best part is you dont even have to pick them up on release date, you can wait. I preordered true blues but was out of town when they released so i picked them up from them about two weeks after the release.

I did the same at Champs for the XI/XII CDP.

^You must have a connect there b/c I've only heard of horror stories of dudes having their pre-paid pairs sold before they got to the store or other pairs available but not their size.

Yep. Having a connection helps. I was able to pick up my pair of True Blue's a week after the release date 'cause my friend stashed my pair in the manager's office. In general, having a connection helps 'cause they tell you when foot locker starts taking pre-orders. Most of the dudes working in foot locker wanna be your "friend" anyway for the commission. I think I know like 5 dudes at the Eaton Centre location now...

no connects...i just go in and say "here is money for these shoes, i am prepaying and i wont be able to pick up until this date" i make them note it on the sheet so they know that i am not a deadbeat buyer and i actually plan on coming to pickup the shoes with my giftcard. as long as you are clear there should be no problems.

i also do not preorder at like yorkdale or eaton centre or the really busy places otherwise you are more likely to have a problem because of the mad traffic they get there.

What city are you in? With the last Jordan release the Olympic 7's it was only available at one Foot Locker in the city and two Champs locations.

I had to drive all the way to the other end of the city and line up along with 20 other people to obtain a pair. It was quite a struggle. A bunch of dudes in the line up didn't even get their size and had to go either go up half a size or down half or one. I was stuck with half a size down but ended up getting lucky. I paid for mine at the store that I was and went to a different location to exchange for my size.

For future releases your only best bet is to go early and line up like everybody else. I built a good customer relationship with a couple of Foot Locker employees near my location so if they ever get a release I'll be good.. if they don't get a certain release then I'm fucked and will have to go a different location and and hope for the best.

I live in London but I'll be in Waterloo for school when the Bred 4s release. You in Toronto I assume? I think I'll just have to ask before hand if the store will be releasing them, then go line up on release day. If they don't, then I'm fucked as well lol and need a connect to get them here.
