Don't stores usually mark the items as a gift? It depends where you bought your item from I suppose because when my friend bought a pair of In4mation Half Cabs from their website, it was marked as a gift.

dont you usually just pay the sales tax on the item plus the fees which arent that much

there's 3 things you have to pay for...
tax
duty
brokerage

of the 3 the duty and brokerage fees are what add up to a lot

via USPS, brokerage is a flat rate of $5.

you're probably looking at around $80CND.

brokerage alone wouldve been like $60 if you used UPS.

ok so im not sure what happened, maybe the store did mark the values down afterall because i just got the slip and it says amount due $27.66 ill go get it and see if they did end up doing that. which would have been fkn nice of them. lol $30 is a big jump to $200 i was dead wrong like biggie

it just says clothing - $360 US
