What happened: He contacted me about a pair of visvims that he had on ebay, wasn't really interested in them but he said he'd give me a great price. Sent me a whole bunch of pictures and was actually a pretty nice guy. Agreed on a price of $85 sent as a gift payment (Yea I know, but like I said this guy seemed legit as they come, had refs of witts, cweak, and a bunch of other UK Hypebeast members). I sent payment more than 3 weeks ago and haven't received anything and he's been ignoring my emails since. He hasn't logged on since 9-28 either which probably means he left this forum or simply made a new account right after he scammed me.

BEWARE OF THIS EMAIL/PAYPAL ADDRESS: bcfcybo@hotmail.co.uk

Sucks to get robbed like this obviously smh (I'm a nice guy) but I guess he needed the money badly to rob me of my $$$.

Just a heads up to fellow HB members.

edit: I'm guessing there's no way to even file a dispute because I sent payment as a "gift" correct?

Nope, no way to file a dispute as gift.
Same thing happened to me for more than tripple the amount.
Two Many scammed me for $300 over some Olive Visvim Shaman Folks.
Kinda sad that dudes have to scoop that low for money.
I was actually looking for these for quite some time and now I have to start over.
Last contact with him was October 5th, i sent the payment September 4th.
Cant trust anyone these days, no matter what their rep is or who they have as refs.

And yea it does suck but what I don't understand is why he is ruining his rep. for a measly $85. He's been a member since like 07 I think...I don't know. I'm sad though

I ran his email trough a few social networking sites and thats the facebook that came up for his email. No Problemo I figured I'd take the two seconds to help a fellow Hber.

You are the man, so how should I go about all this? Should I send him a message on facebook and tell him I have his info and that I'm going to report him if he doesn't refund my money/send me the item?

I'd say message him on his facebook explaining that If he doesn't return your money or send the item you bought you will contact his local police's Internet Fraud Divison, You could also try contacting paypal and filing a dispute but since you sent it as a gift I don't know If you can. Make sure you get together whatever documents you have for proof that he said he would give you the item sold. I would also try to contact his refs to see If something simliar has happened to them to Or if maybe he's just slow.
