So I'm deciding on getting a G35.. I'm probably gonna end up getting an 04 or 05 with about 90,000 miles on it. I want to get it in manual transmission but I heard it doesn't last that long and would probably have to be replaced soon. I don't want it to turn into a money pit of repairs having to be made... does this mean that Auto would be a better choice?

No, it means that 90,000 miles would be a bad choice. Too many clicks in my opinion.. then again I dont know how long those cars last.

yeah thats a lot of miles to buy a used sports car with, i would get a mechanic to go take a look at the car when u go to buy it, also you should hit up a nismo forum or g35 forum and ask them, you'll get much better answers.

VQ35's have a tendency to burn oil at higher mileage....

replacing the clutch can be annoying if it hasn't been replaced yet..90,000 miles in under 4 years is crazy though..you better be getting it for like 14k if thats the case..U can trust these cars but I would find one with less wear

90k is a lot of miles dude. I would say manual cuz it is easier n least expensive to fix.

I agree, if you put another 3-4 years worth of miles on one with 90k, your resale will barely be able to cover the maintenance you did during those years.

90,000 miles too much. Get stick shift with a clutch pedal. Not like a weakling that buys a M3 with a smg transmission, and claim to drive stick.

Hey bro.

The 03-05 models of the G35 coupe have had engine and oil problems and sometimes the oil seeps into the spark plugs is another issue with them around 70k miles and up.

If you can, try to get a 06-07 cause I know for sure that they fixed those engine problems in the newer models.

Just my 2 cents.

i really dont think that you should buy any car but hondas with 90k miles or more, thats not really smart you should just save a bit more and buy one with no more than 50k miles and if you can get less go for it but if u get one plz share pics

I would just take your 14-15k and put down on a 06-07 one and just have low payments a month... 90k and the car is only 4 years old is to many miles, even for california where we have to drive everywhere...

How the hell did you get in this situation?! LMAO. Like did you find 2 separate listings for g35s with 90k and in each type of transmission? Like this sounds retarded.
