i would probably say a japanese car based on reliability, like a toyota or honda. something you don't really have to worry about maintenance with

VW golf or gti. vw has a good community with great aftermarket support and as long as you stay away from the 1.8t, they're good cars

you are going to have to be more specific on a type of car and how much you're spending.

What's your age and what kind of job do you have, like what's your annual income? Just as big a concern as the car's price tag is if you are going to be able to pay for insurance and parts (Imports and Euro's especially are prolly gonna have high insurance and part prices); plus reliability is a major issue. If you're spending $25k on your first car then I'm guessing you have a pretty ill job or maybe you're just a trust fund baby lol.

-For example, I saved up for an Integra all through 9th, 10th, and 11th grade in high school, got a nice '95 SE for 5k but the insurance was fucking killer considering I was working at a restaurant making fairly shit wage so it was a bit of a bitch to have that much of your income go towards insurance and parts

Get a used towncar. Most of em are in good condition, and you can find 'em in your budget too.

yea plz dont get a civic lol, everyone has one..if you ask ten random people if they know someone with a civic the answer will be yes lol, but on the si note, if u want something similar, you can get a rsx type s, i have a vbp 06, its nice, got mine for $15k, and looks better than any $20k plus civic si.

cant go wrong with a g35
but i would say to consider the new Mitusbishi Lancers

maintaining is a breeze
i got mine fully loaded out the door for 19K
comes with sun and sound

basically an evo without the recaros, AWD, and turbo sad
but i love it and id recomend it to anyone looking to buy a first car

g35 is too much for a first car. get something that does 0-60 above 6 seconds and tune it up as you go along
