GT-R Spec-V
The Spec-V is here! There have been rumors of a stripped out version of the GT-R since the car was unveiled last year, and here it is.

Some highlights include lots of carbon fiber switchouts including rear spoiler and brake ducts, and lots of bits from the interior as well. Front seats are replaced with lightweight Recaro buckets and the rear seats have been ditched to save weight. Lighter 20" aluminum wheels and carbon ceramic brakes will come as standard.

Engine will remain the same with the addition of modified boost control to deliver more torque at higher revs.

Cost is expected somewhere around $170,000 USD, which is a substantial premium over the current base and s models.

Weight has been the GT-R's biggest disadvantage to an already great car so the weight shedding should make even better.

Damn the V-Spec GT-R is so dope. I saw the wing on the GT-R has carbon and many other parts. Looks so good in black, and were the rims made by rays? Cause I know rays makes most of the rims for the higher performance nissan cars.

unless they fixed the trans issues which i heard they are pulling the same shit Mitsu did with the first evo's and voiding warranties at the first sign of modification or tracking it, then the car is a pointless overpriced POS. Yes they are nice cars but i mean come on. 60-70WHP gain and the transmissions ar failing in the non V-Spec model. What kinda shit is that?

Buy a ZR-1 and smash the shit out of the GTR. V-spec or not.

and for 60K less. Trust me i hate american but the ZR-1 is not forced to be wreckoned with, i know I own one

i would take the r35 is this color.

and take all of the lip kits and the spoiler(the best looking one)that were on the amuse r35 and put it on there...

but this would be the order of skylines if i had a choice

look i dont know where you guys are from but im a mechanic in orlando florida i used to street race and i learned all my knowledge from a nissan and exotics specialist now a few facts about the gtr and the v spec, first the gtr is a limited production car and i have seen a couple its base price is 70 grand and there is no word of a vspec for this model only a LM model and it starts at 110 grand it will be out this summer. the car is not faster than the younger brother version it is just nicer looking ....... if your looking to race your better off getting the r34 if your looking for street cred get an r35

There's a new Spec-M from Nissan, which is supposed to be a luxury version of the standard GT-R.

Also the 2010 GT-R's twin turbo engine will get a small boost in power to 485hp.
