^Your obviously a Mazda fanboy, Mike Whiddets car only makes around 450 hp with the quad rotor set up and it's nowhere near streetable, and you obviously don't know how much time,money,and custom fab work is required to make that much NA power from a quad rotor,put that same amount of money and time into a RB or 2jz and you'll be pushing 700hp at the wheels no questions asked. Import engines are not great at NA power, that's a fact. Come back when you actually know something about cars.

For starters, the article linked is a 20B powered FD. I doubt the goal behind it was streetability, regardless of that fact I know of a couple street driven 20b's in the area, and one 4rotor.
The 4rotor Madbul made 500 and has an insane torque curve. I'd like to see one as flat and peaks (&holds) as early as that. The goal of a 4rotor setup in motorsports (specifically in Mike's car) isn't, for the most part, about max power. It's more about usable power.
I'm not going to bother addressing the money issue. The same can be said for any engine configuration. There's always going to be a cheaper alternative to the same amount of power. There's too many variables to account for to label one engine better than the next.
To end off, I'd still say the 26B sounds better than 99% of the engines out there.
Everything you just said is irrelevant,but back to my original statement,if you put the same amount of money into a 26b and a RB26,the rb will easily make more horsepower consistently,and rotarys are nowhere near as durable as the inline 6's,but if you want to continue argueing that's fine.
