They go for more than blue book value unless you find someone who is retarded. I just sold two:

Black 5 speed coupe with 120k on the clock and a decent body but good interior, maintenance records, $5500
Blue 5 speed 4 door, with 175k on the clock, no maintenance records, $4300

Easy to say something like that, than to actually do it. ahaha
my boy did an STI swap on his WRX and it wasnt easy to get everything correct, slight differences in wires etc.

A mate of mine had an 04 2.5rs. It was fun and peppy, so he started modding it to be like an STi. Full suspension, exhaust, intake, light weight rims with performance tires (it was a daily driver/weekend track car). Everything was pretty good until he drove a 2010 265 WRX (which is faster than a stock STi) and he then realised why the single cam, naturally aspirated EJ25 motor is complete rubbish. No boost, no fun. End of story. 

Boost is everything.
