Audi A4 all day, not even a question. S4 is not going to give you fuel efficiency, a 2.0t A4 will give you 25-30mpg, classy timeless styling, and for your price range you can throw a couple grand at it and have some nice wheels, maybe a little suspension and a reflashed ecu that will give you 250hp or so and 280 ft lbs tq to all 4 wheels.
