I'm trying to pick one up myself soon. But I'm going to have to put the insurance under my mom or brother in laws name, if not the insurance would be practically double the financing

your maintenance cost is gonna depend on how much you drive and how much you give a shit.

your insurance is obviously gonna depend on too many factors for anybody to tell you without knowing, so pick up a phone and use it.

maintenance is okay for me, not too pricey but just a tad more expensive than your normal civic or something. i pay about $4k a year for insurance for my ap1. i am also 19 years old, in orange county. it's worth every penny.

yes, i have the good gpa discount, no car crashes and one ticket that has been corrected. i also have a disney worker discount too. it'd probably be better for me to buy a daily and list this as my weekend car for it to be cheaper

Parts will be more expensive than a civic. Also if you dont know how to give your car a proper tune up or oil change you should learn, it will save you a shit load of money and its fun to work on your car.

i know how to do the basic, oil change, oil filter and air filter etc. i found a really useful forum for that kind of stuff, i was just wondering how much to expect for insurance.

uh you dont need to own a car to get a quote.
using someone else from the internet who could be a different age, have their license for a different period of time, have a different driving history, different occupation, in a different state with a different insurance company is a good way to get a general idea of how much you'll be paying though.
