Buy the factory repair manual for your car. It'll have all the diagrams and it'll show you how to certain things. wish i could find one for my car for cheap. I only have one of those cheap ones from auto zone but they help.

really you just need to understand how things work on the vehicle then it'll make it easier for you to diagnose and fix the problem
