I'm currently driving a BMW 325i, 2002 I believe.
I'm planning on selling it to buy a newish used, more fuel efficient car.

What are my best options?
Preferences in order of priority:
Fuel Efficiency
Nice, attractive car
Not use premium gas if possible
4 Doors for cheaper insurance

price range: about 10k (if possible)
Mpg: about 35 mpg

***I honestly do not care how much horse power or how fast the car can go. I won't be racing or anything.

Any good suggestions?
Thanks.

Updated with price range...
Sorry for the vague description.

Civic 2012 is an option but I really don't like the exterior. Looks really bland to me.

Read up about the VW and it looks good and everything but maintenance is costly.

My car is way too costly for me. Maintenance, the 15mpg, everything. It's nice and all but times are hard and gas prices are high lol.

If you're looking for cheap maintenance and good mpg, your best bet is an asian car. If civic is out of the question consider 350z. Only problem is insurance is probably expensive.

Damn your bmw gets you 15 mpg? Is that the normal mpg rate? I know the new 335i get 25-30 mpg. But anyways how much does it cost you to maintain it? I'm considering buying a new car and right now i have an accord, was looking into an audi so i just wanted to see the difference.

But anyways why don't you just get a 2010 civic or something? Since the 2012 isn't your favorite exterior.

^ how does 40mpg sound?

Golf 2.5 gets about 30 with 170hp.

I would definitely get a golf mk5 if I were you. Or used mini cooper.

Civics are tasteless.

Are you seriously getting 15mpg's in a 325? If youre getting that mileage, its your driving habits.

But, a diesel VW would be a great contender. Electronics are a bit iffy, but theyve gotten much better. If its used, look for one with manual rollup windows and door locks. It'll help on maintenece.
