Truth, that satisfaction only last so long after you build it and then shit starts to break down or need replacing and you just don't want to deal with it anymore. I spent way more than my car was worth and took a major loss when i had to sell it...

99.9% of the cars people are listing arn't anywhere near 300hp in this thread. You can get a f-body for about 6-10g's. The LS1 they have is known to make 300-330HP and around 360TQ to the wheels bone stock.

pontiac gto is going to be a great choice for power. don't forget about insurance and gas. 350zs are excellent so are g35 but they are known to burn oil and are very costly to mod. there is the mustang gt as well. great platform and HUGE aftermarket. A terminator would be sick, but for 15k you would get a high mileage one.

B5 S4 and re tune it youll easily have 300bhp, Evo 8/Sti but insurance will rape you, E46 M3 but itll have to have around 60-80k, any muscle car with really low mileage.

I just got a 350z and love it, g35 is same with +2 seats. Thats probably the best overall car for your price range.
Power, Reliability, ok mileage, and sporty.

i dont know if in florida cars are just cheaper or you're all just talking out of your ass. Ive seen PLENTY of g35s with low mileage sell here for 12k , ones with 150k on em sell for 7999....

You can get early mid m3 here for 15k ...

the 04 cts-v with an LS6 from factory for 13k, and it has 400 rwhp+

got a 1.8t jetta for 2k and 130k miles. Added full boltons, turbo upgrade kit, coilovers. not quite 300hp but its pretty damn fast and reliable. 160k now and still goin strong smile

Too bad RX7's aren't what you call "reliable", a true drivers car as it seems but I would never recommend it to those who wouldn't wrench a car themselves. Not that I have owned one but wankels are known for having issues.
