So I'm about to get my car and wanted to get a good audio system that bumps but to the point where it doesn't rattle the car. Can someone give me some suggestions?

Alpine Deck, 500 watt amp and a 10 inch JL w6 should fit what you are looking for.

but really its all personal preference and how much you want to spend.

Is that good? I'm lookin for a sound where it bumps but the bass doesn't overwhelm the music. I kinda want the music to sound HD too aha if that makes any sense

Depends how much you want to spend a JL 10W6 like suggested above will give great bass, and sound amazing. It'll just be expensive.

I'm trying to get a system too. Although these suck compared to the JL's you listed, I just got on the Best Buy deal where you buy a qualifying sub & get a box for free. You might wanna look at that out @fooloozero http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?type=category&id=pcmcat257500050026 . I did 2 separate orders & got 2 12" Kickers, a 12" ported enclosure, & a 10" ported enclosure (to sell) for $107. Plus I heard ported boxes are better than sealed depending on the type of music you listen to.

Just go into an actual audio shop whee they can help you. Most of HB doesn't have knowledge on how to hook up a system

Audio shops dont know shit....theyll just sell you whatever if one doesnt know what good shit is. Yea br0 so sick wit ma kickerz braaaah!
Real audiophiles know whats good with shit like Focal and McIntosh.
