I don't have a problem with them. I just didn't know why people had their lights on during the day. I do think they're useless though. I've been driving for 8 years with just the sun and I can see just fine. To each his own though.

Two things.
1. They might be coming from somewhere else where it is raining.
2. A lot of newer cars have DRLs. Daytime Running Lights. Where the car has a separate set of lights that are always running during the day time. A lot of cars have automatic head light switches too.

This is the main reason. People (mostly kids) get HIDs and are so excited about them and think they're the shit for em, and drive in the day time with them.
I had to slap some sense into 2 of my boys who used to do this.. it doesn't really make you look cool driving your Civic with your blue HIDs in the day time

Mind the Daytime Running Lights, the people who put HID's in reflector housings/non projectors are the biggest morons ever.
