if you can only afford $10k for a car than don't buy some BMW or Audi that will kill you in maintenance and insurance. If I was in your position I would get either a Mazda 6 or an E30 BMW with plenty of cash left over.

e30 ftw. i copped an e30 for 1600, shits fun, cheap, inexpensive on insurance, and will run forever.

But I've heard horror stories of it and the maintenance problems after so many years. They are old machines so when one thing breaks down another might just break soon too
