So this guy is selling a 1979/80 Rolls Royce for $6000.00. (LOL! I know right? ) This is an older guy who is sick and desperate for cash. I forgot how many miles it has on it. Probably a lemon but this could be a dope project car. Or maybe not?

Anybody know anything about Rolls Royces? Should I cop? I wanna make some babies in the back of it!

You're going to be looking at $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to make any repairs. Doubt it's a lemon, those things don't leave the factory unless they're 100%. But as I've mentioned, with the age, and the premium make, that's a lot for any sort of maintenance.

People forget that an expensive car will always be expensive.

you can also get a 1987 BMW M5 for around that price. i can also guarantee that you'll spend roughly that each year in maintaining that car alone.

now take into consideration that the rolls royce retailed for roughly 4-5 times that.

i never said the maintenance would be 25k, just saying considering a bmw sports car costs several thousand a year to maintain, a rolls royce should be at least a few more.

This is funny i was actually thinking about the same thing when i saw an older guy in a suit cruising in his late 80s early 90s Rolls and i was like hmm i wonder if he wants to sell it? But yeah i wouldnt mind owning an oldschool Rolls and slam the fuck out of it tho. Even if it was a Lemon you can always drop a fully built LS1 or an LSx into that bitch. If you want buy it and flip that bitch if you dont want to keep it.

I see a lot of old black guys in my city driving Rolls Royces. It's kind of cool. I prefer older Bentleys myself. I saw a rolls for 13k at the salvation army car lot.

Yeah, maintaining them is what breaks the bank.

You can pick up a 2008 Mercedes S550 for around $50k, and 3 years ago the MSRP was $85k. All those European luxury cars depreciate the minute you drive off the lot and they just keep plunging. You can find a 2008 7 series for around $40k.
