06 g35 or 2011 sti

Okay, so I can get a good deal on a 2011 white sti with 2000 miles on it. It's the base model, but has leather seats, the wider BBS rims, and short throw shift.

I have a 06 g35 (with sport suspension)right now, with 70,000 miles.

what would you guys do?

Well give us the god damn price and factors that would influence your decision. A 2011 STI with 2,000 miles is probably gonna be 2x as expensive as a 06 G35 w/ 70k miles or more. Obviously, anyone with fucking brains would choose new 2011 STI over an older 06 G35 with 35x more mileage if there were no fucking factors.

Any more details? Whats the cash involvement?
Does it snow where you live? Gas? Insurance rates?
I actually have a friend that paid $400+/month for full coverage on a wrx @ 17.
Imho, that's way too much but hey you might be able to afford that.

Obvious choice would be sti, but I could think of a number of reasons to keep the G.
Need more info man, otherwise just from the info you gave. Sti.

Btw, if you've been treating your G35 right. Even at 70k, you still have a lot of life left.
Nice car though, possibly looking to snag a G35 myself in a few months.

yeah, my g35 is still in great condition. Dealer said it's the best g35 they've seen for how many miles it has.

I live in Socal, so AWD isn't needed. Money isn't an issue, the guy is giving a great deal, he's super rich and a good friend.

hahaha i drive an Evo and i will tell you to take the STI over a G ANY day of the week.. G35s arent even a luxury car.. it a 350z with some leather.

go buy a benz or a beem if you want luxury.. c63amg/m3 even a 335i

I've gotten back in the market for another car and the 2011 4dr sti right now is my first choice. I'm just holding out for the BRZ and the FR-S to finally be revealed in December before I bit. The G35 is still a great car and I wouldnt question you if you stuck with it. Its just both cars tailor to different type of drivers and markets. If you want something different outside of the sport coupe market then a 4dr sti is a great choice, with or without the deal you're getting. I say get it if you're looking for something new, but I'm also on the fence myself atm.
