audi or bmw. mercedes cars are nice. but they don't compete with either of the other brands unless your buying a high end car. all 3 are great looking cars. but are different performance wise. it depends on what you want out of your car.

depends what price range you're looking at. there's no 1 answer

i'd take 328i > c300 > a4
i'd take m3 > c63 amg > s4
i'd take m5 > e55 amg > rs4
i'd take s550 > 750il > a8
i'd take r8 > ??

The bmw "M" series is deiniltly sick, but mercedez has those ballin luxury cars. Im thinkin of coppin a CLK320, nice, more affortable mercedez

I had an E60 M5 and i loved it but i thought it was just a little too big.... So i sold that and im thinking about picking up a C63 AMG to replace it..

Right now i drive an Evo9 as my sporty track car so the Benz will be the luxury car with a little power but not like my evo.

Overall Merc's are the best all around car imo. The luxury of it is second to none for that price range. If your into Sport+Lux AMG is perfect for you. BMW's are cool M3 is probably the best all around car, def the most all around car they offer IMO, and certainly the most critically acclaimed car they offer. But their sporty as fuck. The M3 is cool but nothing's more classy than a MERC.

all i know of merc is my week long test drive of a 2003 benz c230, ended up sticking with my 1992 325i because it was more sporty and much much more luxurious than the c230, the CL's on the other hand..

Mercs are definitely classier and bold(aesthetically anyway). I still think that BMW's appeal to a younger crowd because of the design language and the fact that their cars are basically known for performance in the real world and on the track. Mercs are known for the luxury and the power-of-god-himself AMG engines. Audi's... well they are just sexy ass machines loaded with sophisticated tech, yet i think Audi is always second place performance wise. Their R-line is always the third to be mentioned behind M and AMG

bmws have a ton more problems than fuel pumps.

steering on e39s,
window mechanisms on e46s,
transmission issues on e34s.
pretty much everything on e30 m3s, the base model e30s are actually fairly reliable

Don't forget subframe issues on the e46.

All the three companies have very good cars.
My biggest problem with these companies are not so much exterior or reliability. But, rather interiors.
Audi's interior are simple and random.
BMW's good, But not well done.
Mercedes not too much, not too little.

i think bmw design is def falling off as their marketing has risen. 1series anyone?

the 3/5 series are still somewhat solid.

I'd def pick audi overall. the new a7 looks

. the a8 (2012 s8? ) can def compete with an benz sl63/s600.

Mercedes > BMW > Audi

BMW is close to my heart but Mercedes has a far more diverse lineup of vehicles. The only Audi vehicle that differentiates itself from a Volkswagen is the R8.
