Audi or Mercedes or BMW?

It's kinda dumb to pass judgement on an entire brand's reliability, there are simply too many different models and engines for that to be accurate. I have heard some bad things about turbo Audi engines, but I've also never seen my friend's car have a problem. Every manufacturer has its problems, but among these 3 the biggest problem I heard of recently was in BMWs. Last year they had to recall cars equiped with the N54 twin turbo I6 engine because of fuel pump failures, which included 335i models since 2007, 2008

^ I'm well aware of the complexities of a turbo setup, thanks for trying to be a condescending douche though. This wasn't about which part replacement you'd "rather do", I was simply mentioning a recent reliability issue related to one of the manufacturers (a recall that affected around 150,000 vehicles so it was fairly large).

A fuel pump is relatively minor compared to a turbo swap obviously. Though a failing fuel pump on a f/i car can have catastrophic consequences the N54 fuel pump starts whining long before it completely fails. Every car manufacture has issues that needs to be worked out but the failing turbo issue has plagued Audi for a long time. Personally to me Audi does not have the same reputation as BMW or Mercedes-Benz. Hell half the Audi line up consist of rebadged VW.

they're all dope as fuck.

each company offers beasts, to argue over which is better is an argument that won't end soon.

I'm personally a bmw guy... the e39 m5 is by far my favorite

as for mercedes, i don't really fuck with them since I like driving a manual gearbox... but i drove the c63 the other day, and god damn......cool

as for audi, the rs6 is dope as fuck

as for the boss cars... they all offer them: the 760Li, s63/5, cls63, s600, s8, etc.

I've worked valet for about a year and a half now... and i've pretty much driven them all.... i have not however driven the new cts-v.. but i dislike american cars, even when the design of it is based on an archer drawing his bow or whatever the fuck razz

e39 m5 is one helluva car, heard maintenance is a bitch though

to each his own, my dad's first gen cts-v has its negatives (crappy stock shifter, low budget interior, axle hop) but still pretty fun to drive. from what i've read though, cadillac has corrected all of those issues with the new car and made it arguably better than its european competitors

Yeah the maintenance for that thing is quite expensive...


and without a doubt cadillac tied all the loose ends, and produced a car that is on par/arguably better than everything in its class.

bmws have a ton more problems than fuel pumps.

steering on e39s,
window mechanisms on e46s,
transmission issues on e34s.
pretty much everything on e30 m3s, the base model e30s are actually fairly reliable

I don't know much about car quality or engines but I think bmws are the best looking. I kind of obsessed with being an 80s drug dealers and bmws were the shit to d boys back then.

I own an Audi 2001 Quattro with all the stock parts still in place. The car is still running smooth even with 120k+ miles on it, but i'm about to replace a few parts and swap out the turbos for an upgrade. Bi-Turbos baby!!

audi has made some really great aesthetic changes to their cars over the past few years. mercedes are a little too older-adult for me, but I feel like audi has the best mix of contemporary aesthetics and performance

nahh. But bmw breaks down here and there too specially the interior parts. im guessing its probably because if the low quality materials they use to make the bmws out of. The early 90s till the 2000s seems to have crappy parts.
