Mar 19, 2011 @ 23:46
toyota coming out with a sports car in years?
Mar 20, 2011 @ 01:49
the subaru sti version would be a monster
Mar 20, 2011 @ 20:18
if that glass car subaru mock up is 100% accurate to what they're planning to do then all i gotta say is GOD DAMN THAT ENGINE IS LOW AS FUCK. i guess not having to deal with an awd tranny has given them a ton of flexibility with engine bay component placement.

I doubt that is where the engine placement will be in the final production car. I do not even see an exhaust manifold on the prototype mock up.
Mar 21, 2011 @ 16:37
If car companies did collabs it would be sick
Mar 22, 2011 @ 13:22
It's a boxer engine, it'll be that low. There is no exhaust mani. there, but I can't see it changing too much.
Mar 23, 2011 @ 01:48
debating getting an evo X or this :/

Easy mang...

Mar 26, 2011 @ 12:51
theyve been talking about this in super street for the longest time.i wouldnt hold your breath on this thing coming out in the next few years.nissan ended up scrapping the plans of a new 240sx.
Mar 28, 2011 @ 21:26

I'm actually digging it I may have to cop one.
Apr 23, 2011 @ 04:00
If it continues in the Scion line, that shit better not be FWD.
Apr 23, 2011 @ 13:13
it wouldn't be, they wouldn't make two FWD cars that would compete for the same market. Imma be pissed if scion fucks with the design too much, that concept is gaudy as shit.

Look how the engine is mounted. FWD isn't even an option for the Scion good job Subaru.

I agree it does look a little over the top. But if the production version has those same fender flairs I bet you will be able to fit some serious rubber under there.
Apr 23, 2011 @ 17:15
I hope the production version comes with door handles...

Apr 26, 2011 @ 12:59
i really hope this comes out soon ><
Apr 27, 2011 @ 00:10
I was pretty ?) when I found out this was releasing as a scion. Oh well toyota of course wants to keep their image of gas efficient slow ass family cars. This car will be releasing within the next year. My friend is working on marketing campaigns as we speak so guys be ready. As soon as these are available for reserve I would jump on it fast. Car is expected to come in limited quantities for the first 2 years. All in all it is a beautiful car inside out. &)
Apr 27, 2011 @ 07:18

Apr 27, 2011 @ 09:25
MSRP is around $20k
Apr 27, 2011 @ 15:35
the front end on this is too busy now..... what was a great design is slowly turning to shit
Apr 28, 2011 @ 16:39
original concept looked far cleaner, this has too much going on and the scion badge prevents me from even considering picking one up

Melo Gang All Day

MSRP is around $20k

It will actually be priced around 24k no options. Also keep in mind dealers will not be budging on pricing when this first hits. They are expecting demand to be high and dealers will be raping people for their money. tax and licensing on a base model will end up around 28k.
Apr 30, 2011 @ 01:51
they had a lil paragraph in the latest super street about subies boobies.this one doesnt look any sexier but lets hope they change the front end a lil before its release.
May 01, 2011 @ 10:27
the scion badge makes me not want this car anymore.
