if that glass car subaru mock up is 100% accurate to what they're planning to do then all i gotta say is GOD DAMN THAT ENGINE IS LOW AS FUCK. i guess not having to deal with an awd tranny has given them a ton of flexibility with engine bay component placement.


I doubt that is where the engine placement will be in the final production car. I do not even see an exhaust manifold on the prototype mock up.

It's a boxer engine, it'll be that low. There is no exhaust mani. there, but I can't see it changing too much.

I agree it does look a little over the top. But if the production version has those same fender flairs I bet you will be able to fit some serious rubber under there.

I was pretty confused when I found out this was releasing as a scion. Oh well toyota of course wants to keep their image of gas efficient slow ass family cars. This car will be releasing within the next year. My friend is working on marketing campaigns as we speak so guys be ready. As soon as these are available for reserve I would jump on it fast. Car is expected to come in limited quantities for the first 2 years. All in all it is a beautiful car inside out. &)

MSRP is around $20k


It will actually be priced around 24k no options. Also keep in mind dealers will not be budging on pricing when this first hits. They are expecting demand to be high and dealers will be raping people for their money. tax and licensing on a base model will end up around 28k.
