Yo araw, did you install your HKS cbe yourself or did you have a shop do it? I got some high priced quotes from three local shops but they were going by labor rates. Was wondering what you think a good price is if you had a shop do it. I don't have a jack and stands but I can get some from a friend and I'll probably rent a tailpipe cutter if I can't find a good price and decide to do it myself.

my friends basically did most of the work in like 20 minutes. it's really simple. we jacked up the rear and used a electrical saw to cut the old one. if you get it done at a shop, i wouldn't pay more than an hour in labor although they probably overcharge you like crazy anyways =/

Will 07+ emblems fit on my 05? If they do I might just buy black ones online. They said they don't fade and I'm kinda too lazy too take them off and paint them now. But if I did, I would just use krylon instead of the whole bleaching process..

Yeah they will. I just know on the older models the "MAZDA" on the back is just held by double sided tape while the newer ones are held by two pins. I'm not sure which years though.
Just paint them your self and save the money. Sand them down at least if you're going to skip the bleach.

mazda is held on by 2 pins/ tape
rear M is held on by 2 pins/ tape
front M is held on by 4 tabs
3 is just double sided tape
mazdaspeed is just double sided tape

you should paint em, i just redid mine with a can of krylon in like 30 minutes. they're kind of a rip off if you buy em online. you getting em on streetunit?

yeah, if you don't break any of the pins like me smh. you can use double sided exterior trim tape if you're worried about em flying off.

I think it's just wheel hop or something. Like the front jumps around sometimes. I'm sure the motor mount helps that.

I saw that car on Horsepower tv on Sunday and that car is FAST! The episode showed the guys bought an ecu programmer and also added an AEM intake to the car and it dyno'd out at 259HP. Im not a mazda guy but that car goes.

Yeah I've had it on for maybe around 800miles now. I'm lovin it so far. It's quieter than I thought which isn't a bad thing, way better than stock of course lol. Has a nice deep tone that I was looking for and there's hardly any drone even at highway speeds.

Not to bad. What do you have done to your car. I wish I could get half the amount of runs in at my track.

I was about to order HID's for my headlights and fogs and I checked the specs in my book and it says 55 watts for both. I don't want to pay an extra $10 for 55 watts and its says they aren't as good. So will 35 watts work? ('05)

offers considered. these are brand new. I had a hard time finding these when I had my car. The ones I found at the dealer did not have the MazdaSpeed embroidery on them. I went through multiple sets before finding these on ebay. Car has been gone over a year and found these on the shelf. Would really like to move to someone that can use them.
