Weren't you complaining that new BMWs look too Japanese? Looks sexy as hell but I see a weird Accord sedan/G35 sedan elongated hybrid in these pictures...

You're Blind.

This car looks sleek, cold, calculated and German, back on the same level looks wise as audi and benz. The lines on and edges on this car mean something, they arent random and retarded like how it is on the 3 and 1 series. Basically BMW fucked up from 06-09. But The new 7 series and 5 series are bringing the company back. Right now its just the 3, 1, and 5 series GT that look bad.

I dont think 4 door coupe applies here as well but thats what they went with. Who knows what the final design will look like. On the whole, this car looks great IMO.

Design is art, Engineering is making art reality. Both go hand in hand when it when comes to making an idea something real.

This is how it was in the 80s and 90s and I actually prefer it this way now. It gives that distinct brand identity.

i suppose but i liked the lineup when it was the e36/46 e39 and e38. each car looked good and shared similar characteristics, but different enough where you certainly wouldn't confuse one car for another

ΣKANS, lol yeah chris bangle said that sausage line. I liked that era but I still like Chris Bangle's attitute towards design...i just hate the e90 and e82.

FrancisMHWhite, yup......e36/e46/e39/e38 was my fav era. Thats what made me fall in love with the company.
