I vote s2k. I think the bang for buck, maintanance and relaibility can't be beat by your other choices. I may be biased as I am a Honda man though.

the engine sounds like crap under full throttle imo (the ENGINE not the EXHAUST) and it could stand to lose a few hundred pounds. the s2000 is a much better car

yo you seriously say the dumbest shit about cars time and time again. You are comparing an actual coupe to a fucking go-kart of a coupe. its like comparing a BMW coupe to the Z4.

They are both coupes, but one is a legit coupe and not some overcramped, and mini girl car.

I see nothing wrong with G35's and this is coming from someone who never really liked Japanese vehicles.

you've clearly never driven a g35. i have. i compared it to the s2000 because it's in the same price bracket and the s2000 is another car i'm considering. you've also clearly never driven an s2000 because if you have, you'd know it's far from girly.

the g35 is a good looking car with a nice interior, but it's not a drivers car.

LOL. Very enjoyable to drive, just underpowered. I guess the S2000 fills that void. I'd take either one, but would get the S2000. Although..when something goes on the S2000, I'm afraid it'll kill the wallet. So Miata takes it for me.

he kept the money from the GTI, which we got 21k from (it was a 2007, not a 1987). he had paid the downpayment on the GTI which was 10k and i was paying the rest, then i got kinda fucked over. the cts-v he had bought for $50k and would've gotten roughly $30k for at the time, now just $25k. american cars FTL.

Ive known of around 5 Mazdas that have failed. I know a certified Mazda tech who works on and drives them. He even told me to stay away! There is a 2007 Mazda 8 in my drive way. then theres FORD!

Real talk anyone looking to buy a G35 unless it has around 30-40k miles on it i wouldn't touch it. A high mileage and i mean like 80K+ is a disaster waiting to happen. Especially if you buy one used. Typically because maintenance cost alot hell look at how much it cost just to replace a clutch on them. Not to mention the Oil Consumption issue those engines have thus causing the motors to seize up because of bad O rings on the pistons. They fixed this problem with the 06's i believe but its still a issue just not as common. Don't get me wrong the cars are definitely nice but with the maintenace cost and reliability issues that plague them they are definitely not worth going cheap on. IF YOU DO get a G35 make sure you buy it from an Infiniti or Nissan dealership with low miles, and make sure you do your research and know what to ask for when you go to the dealership. I spent a good 6 months on g35driver.com just studying and learning the ins and outs before i went to the dealership, sadily they didn't have what i wanted so i didn't buy one...
