Does anyone know much about the C240?

I'm looking at a 04' with 98,000 miles on it.

is there any problems I should be aware of with this year, or anything I should make sure has been fixed on it?

Not sure about the C240 but my friend had a c280 and he said he had numerous problem with it. Good thing he leased it and returned the car when the lease was up. Didn't bother with another Mercedes after.

the one my family has is the 4matic version.

goods:
comfortable, luxurous, efficient on gas

bads:
when u drive automatic. as the car switch gear itself, the transition is quite slow


overall:
its average lol

lol i just sold one of these. mine was also an 04 but it had no problems until i sold it. but i sold it last month with only 31K miles so that's also probably why it had no problems...

it's supercharged if i'm not mistaken, so going with a high mileage example is not the best idea. and those cars are terribly reviewed so i'd go with an A4 or 330i

it's supercharged if i'm not mistaken, so going with a high mileage example is not the best idea. and those cars are terribly reviewed so i'd go with an A4 or 330i


only some are supercharged, if it says krompressor on the back then it is. The 330i and a4 are better choices, much better.

ALOT of miles for an 04. anyways, i have a superchared 05 c230, no major problems so far. the only problem i got was a broken thermostat. very nice quite ride.

my buddy just picked up a c63 amg, you cant go wrong with the c class, he had an a4 before and i would choose the c class over the audi anyday.
