Okay so Im selling bugeye wrx this week for $11,000. After I sell that car I'll have about $12,000 to spend on a new car. I have the options of the following:

1) Get a $6,000 loan and get a "brilliant black" 2004 Audi S4 ..for those of you that dont know its quattro (AWD), 4.2 Liter, V8, Bi-turbo fucking monster 340 awhp. 6 speed manual of course. This car is under FULL warranty renewable for up to 4 years, which could come in handy because Audis are expensive to maintain.

2) Get a 2004/2005 Audi A4 also in black..quattro (AWD) V6 3.0 Liter Turbo. 6 speed manual as well but only puts out about 230 awhp. BUT I dont have to get a loan for this one. I could pay cash up front and be done with it.

Im in college and dont know if I want a car payment..The only plans of modifying the car would be a good set of coilovers I want it low, and a set of BBS', and a catback exhaust. (putting all these mods on either car I get).

WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

Seriously? how old are you, you shouldnt be buying cars based on that, sure when I have had nice cars in my life, I have been happy to get compliments and what not.

But guess what, theres always a better, faster car out there. get over it and get something that makes sense for you overall. wise up.

test drove a 2005 s4 today. handle ridiculously good and has so much power everywhere. basically im sold on that car i just gotta find the right one. one of the main things i noticed was the difference in ride comfortability. going from my wrx (everything rattles and the ride is really rough and my interior shit shakes all the time lol) to the s4 was like night and day. just a really great car all around.

and to drifter i think you misenterpreted what i was saying. I didnt really mean that what i said about having a nicer than my homies..I dont really care most of my homies push busted ass pieces of shit anyway. i want a nice car thats a little more grown man and a lot less boy racer than a fucking wrx.

If you are just gonna put exhaust and coilovers,
I would definitely go for the S4, 4.2 V8 with the right exhaust sounds like a monster.

if you search hard enough, you can cop an e46 m3 for 18k with decent miles, no joke. but if AWD is a must, then you can't go wrong with a B6 S4

the smart decision would be, since you're in college, to buy a piece of shit and ride it out till you get a well paying job outta college then get something dope

btw the 3.0 liter is NA and actually sounds quite good with an exhaust, but puts out roughly 225 at the crank. however the new s4 is a supercharged 3.0 and puts out 333 hp, looks sexy as hell too. maybe buy a preowned out of college?

get the s4 and chip it along with your exhaust, you can get alot more power and your car will be alot more responsive.

I wouldnt get the a4 v6 3.0 if you're planning on modding it. I've got a 2.0t a4 and it is the most mod friendly a4 out there, they dont have much aftermarket support for the v6.

2000-2002 s4 is a twin turbo 2.7, also found in the A6's of that time.

Why not just keep what you have? Maintenance is alot higher on an audi then a subie. You know your car inside out why ask for more bills. You can impress the world after you graduate
