My friend is getting a buick lesabre 2001 about 42000 miles on it give or take a couple miles and wants to know if buick is a reliable brand and wont go to shit after a couple years. Are american cars shitty compared to foreign made cars? Any help would be appreciated.

I've been around cars my whole life and I would take that Buick over any Foreign car. One reason is that if something ever mechanically goes wrong with the Buck(any American vehicle) it would 10x cheaper to fix. Personal experience.

Yea that's going to be a real cool car lol. He picks a grocery getter over a Buick. Seems like most of you guys on this bored aren't into nice rides. You guys settle for Toyota Camery or Mazada 3. Get a chevy Tahoe or Monte Carlo. Gangster fo sho.

the 3800 series II is a great engine. Its been around gm forever. It'll last just as long as its well maintained.
