I think if torque matters that much to someone the difference between an Ap1 VS Ap2 would be the least of your worries, I'd just forget about getting a Honda all together haha.
Having driven both and owned an AP2, there are enough differences that if you can afford the ap2 get it. The torque is noticeably more with the 2.2 liter.
AP2, just 'cause they worked out the kinks you'd have with an AP1.
And you won't really notice that night and day difference between the power anyways.

what kinks? by 2003, the ap1 was perfected. not honda's fault people can't drive.

How was it perfected? Documentation or you're full of it! You just had someone who vouched driven both and owning an ap2.

cuz i'll be getting one too. it's either 04/05 silverstone with red/black interior or 06+ leguna blue pearl.
