I'm thinking of getting a Honda Civic 1999 Si as a first car.
Is it a good first car?

It's not a bad first car. Easy to maintain, parts are always available for you in case of emergencies, the knowledge to fix something is always available on the internet and such.

Only thing I'd recommend highly is, full-coverage insurance.

Si's are still huge targets IMO.

My first set of aftermarket wheels were Rotas lol. Circuit 8s in white. Traded my GSR fat fives for them LOL. No cash on top or anything, which surprises me since fat fives aren't really popular to begin with.

I really wanted a set of white Circuit 10s in 15"s though.

lol...10g's in a motor, you better have a 1000+ hp car. For me, I get parts for cheap, resell, and save. Invest in some stocks, see how those go and then buy more parts, then resell.
