I'm not that into cars so I'm not gonna know much about model numbers and stuff. I pretty much want maybe an 04 with that spoiler that comes with it or looks like it does anyway. Like this one.
Are Acuras as easy to maintain as a honda? I was looking into getting a 3 series coupe but I hard they're expensive as hell to maintain.

That one you have pictured is the Type S with an A-Spec lip kit. I have that model. The wing your referring to is known as the Type R/A-spec spoiler.

Acura's/Honda's in general are fairly easy to maintain. As long as you are up to date on your basic maintenance they can run a long time. That's not to say there isn't a few flaws with the Motor/Tranny but they are few and far between...

Yeah all K Series with the exception of the 24's have weak ass synchro's. 2nd and 3rd gear mainly because that's the ones people pull hella hard on. Not to mention the tranny is very touchy so its easy to miss shift...

What would you guys say was a better car between an rsx and the newest prelude? I'm not very concerned with speed or mod-ability. Just like reliance, maybe performance, and which looks more bad ass. The most I plan to mod is some rims and lower it. I'm just looking for a clean, sexy, daily driver coupe.

I'm probably biased because I drive a 5th gen myself, but I like it a lot better than the DC5. It is a tad wider and has a bit lower of a roofline. Both motors put about the same power down stock if it is a Type-S RSX. If you are debating between a base rsx and a base prelude. Buy the Prelude. Watch out for Auto Ludes though. The trannies are a bit fragile.

You can't go wrong with either choice to be honest with you... I've driven both and the Prelude does sit lower stock but it feels like a boat at times. Sit in both and see how you feel about each one. Hell even test drive both. See which one suits your needs better and just feels right. As i said before you can't go wrong with either choice. Both with a lip kit and nice wheels and drop make a huge difference...

Im gonna go for the rsx. Preludes dont seem like my style. Would an 04ish rsx be a smart buy over an 04 3 series? I'm gonna have it at least two years and I want as little problems as possible.

I drove an EG6; totalled. It had a D16 in it. God, it was a beauty. Si.
Bought another EG6, D16 as well. Sold it for a 1.6EL. The 1.6EL had a B18.
Then sold that one cause I was about to get a 240Z. Then the seller ducked. To this day I'm still looking for one -_-

The RSX is a good choice for you then if that's what you plan to do. An older 3 series is probably going to cost you more in terms of maintenance than the RSX will. And you'll get good gas mileage as well...

If your going to have it for about 2 years then that means you will want something with good resale value. So that being said the rsx would be the best choice.

NWP4life would be a good place to look for what your looking for. If you want to go with an aggressive set up then your probably going to have to get some replicas...

NWP4Life is koo, but it's still slow.

I'd browse Honda-Tech too, ClubRoadster since Miatas share the 4x100 pattern and every now and then, they have some dope wheels for sale.

$800 can get you something decent.

*Cough* itsmedeka.

Man I can't believe he's a scammer, I traded him some vans 2-3 years ago, he was super legit.

Back to Hondas. I own a 2002 acura rsx type-s, I've had it since I was 16, its been almost 8 years now. Never gave me a problem other than the A/C going at 40k and well thats it. My biggest gripe is the rattles are fucking unbearable!

He's referring to the dash... And other little panels inside the car; glove box etc...
