What car should I get?

I got about 10 g's and need to get my first car. I can get any car for around that price it could b like a couple thousand higher and I have no idea. I was thinking like a 9o somethign M3 or an AMG benz but idk. Any suggestions?

I would personally want to say unless you have parents paying for maintenance/insurance, don't get a AMG or M3, get something cheaper, then you can have some fun with the left over cash.

if you really want to get a bmw or benz, i would go with a 2003 or above 3 series. they are nice cars. come in sedan, coupe, and convertible. rear wheel and all wheel drive. i say 2003 and above because the body of the 2000-2003 is the same i think but 2003 and beyond got a minor facelift that looks better than the older ones IMO.

yeah you could get a 98/99 m3 for around 10k. and even 2000/01 if you get lucky.

cars to consider that are fast/nice/wont shit on your wallet (kind of teenage cars/early 20s cars):

1999 eclipse gst/gsx, evo 8 (if your lucky), scion TC, subaru STI (if youre lucky), honda civic SI

some cars if youre wanting to keep "classy"
any BMW, honda civic si with no mods (I mean none), smart car, fuel efficient cars, etc, you get the point hopefully

If you really want an M3 for 10k you're probably going to have to settle for an older model or one with fairly high miles.
Plus insurance won't be pretty.

I personally don't think it's worth it.

Try the honda s2000, its a great price, but if your going for an amg or m series i dont think thats good, each of those cars cost more the 60,000 k, and you would have to pay like 850$ a month.

the fuck are you talking about? there was no m3 in 2000 and the 2001 is an e46, which you'll be lucky to find around 20k

btw the e36 m3 sedan is actually much harder to find and has a more rigid chassis than the coupe.

OP, find out what your parents are doing for you in terms of maintenance and insurance. also if you're checkin out a car get a PPI done no matter what. problems to look out for on these cars are the mounts, shocks, and cooling system. good luck.

you can get a really nice/ newish mustang, 300, charger for around that price. all these cars people are telling you to get are going to require a lot of maintainence, especially the euro ones. just make sure you look into reviews on the car you want before shopping around.

cut the bs and get a motorcycle, but really if you got 10g's to spend on down payment, if you got a job with consistent pay, get something around 14k, if your looking for euro sports car you can find a 01 audi S4 around that price, drop some rs4 turbos and ull b smoking the new m3 in that shit, or the 95-99 bmw m3s r good, but hard to find lower miles, i would stay away from benz.

Buy the cheapest nissan/kia new. pay for it in whole; i believe they're only right under 10k?

yeah, it won't get you hoes like a m3 would. but you would have that nice 'x' year warrenty & 'x' miles warrenty. 0mi on the clock, and it would take you a loooooong time. insurance is also cheap on them since they're economy cars. and remember, it's not the car that get's the hoes.. it's the man driving it. they'll be dickin' you just cuz you whippin & don't have a rust bucket.

try not to buy like m3 for some other top of the line car brand with high miles cause in the end waste of 10gs and you might have car problems in the future
