About how much would it cost to drop my BMW 1988 325, 3 inches and get a full body kit?

U need to be more specific, if you wanna be ricer/cheap you can cut your springs for free lol, for around $200-300 you can get sum lowering springs and install yourself, or get some coilovers for upwards of $1000, as for bodykit, again more specific as to what kit you're getting, is it pre-painted, or will it need some prep work/paint.

1. save ur money
2. Springs: INtrax, Eibach, H&R --- $175-$275
3. Body Kit (if you MUST). Umm...Germany if you want it to look like anything good.
4. Re-allocate the body kit funds toward some nice BBS mesh, staggered wheels after the drop and just cruise.

IMO

i agree with est1984, just dont ruin a good BMW with a fat spoiler, stickers with parts you didn't use, chrome "gangsta" rims, huge body kit, fart cannons, anything "replica", you get the point.

Don't get regular springs and shocks.. get coilovers. Depending on which brand you get, they'll cost you about $700-$800+ for a full suspension setup. You don't want to spend too cheap on the suspension (one example are ebay coilovers) as they may break sooner or later and the drive will be crappy.

I'm not sure about body kits.. not sure why you even want to add one.. in fact, why don't you just save up your money, drive the beater for now, and get like a 98+ 325 then tune that one up? It looks better than the old one.

I'm just going to be honest, you'll probably regret spending all this money in the long run.

Listen to this and northwest's advice.

BMW dont need much tuning to look good. For E30 series, BBS definitely lift its looks status. No other car fits BBS nicer than BMWs. If u've got money to spare, I'd rather re-spray the whole car for a new look.
