I covered Formula Drift Round 1 Streets of Long Beach over this past weekend on both Friday & Saturday and I snapped up over 16 gigs of image. I posted up about 200 of them on 3 different entries below and I posted a few of the highlights from each.

Driftin TC's?lame! Is one of those Ken's? I missed this one so i could go to that huge one in May. That hankook Z is looking nice, and Calvin Wan's falken S15 is sick!cool

i know one of the tc's were converted to RWD, im not sure if they did that for all of them

they had to have. they'd be out their mind not to IMO

Ive seen FWD drifting but...it looks like such a chore, no thanks.

they converted all fwd to rwd. cant do long enough drifts in fwd

They're all purpose built cars. Why wouldn't they convert over to FWD? All the were converte to RWD as well.

Mustangs are some of the best cars for drifting. That's when the live axle setup really helps. cool

Of course the big drama that week was Rhys Millen running his Hyundai Genesis with a Nissan engine. Some parts didn't get there in time and they couldn't use the original Hyundai engine, IIRC.
