What he said lol.

Dealer did the same thing to me when my mom and I went out to pick out a 06 Corolla for a 'good' price. Called the guy just an hour before leaving, arrived and started giving me bullshit how the car hasn't arrived yet. But we can pick out another one, for a bit of a higher price. Stealerships lol

start with the license, then start searching for a safe, inexpensive, in great condition ride when u find it tell your parents, so that you can go see it and then earn it by being a suck up at your house...this worked for me but my first ride died and i needed something to go to college so yeah they bought me a new suv

Do your parents ever let you drive their cars when you want to go out? If they do, try to take it out as much as possible. Be a good driver, and earn their trust that you are a safe driver. I pretty much lost my chance, got a ticket the first week I had my license. But it wasnt my fault, and nothing in my record. My sister's car didnt have freaking front plates.

Or you can be an ass. Take it out as much as possible. Give it a couple of miles, return the car with little gas. Just make sure you dont scratch the car. They may get annoyed enough to finally get you a car.

Yeah and don't do it for money. Do it freely, do it often.

I've helped my dad do garden works, taking out engines, help fix cars, and other shit. I did it without question and a smile. I bonded with my dad and he thanked me with his Clean 1993 Integra GS 4door 5-speed when I got my license. :D
I became a car fanatic like my dad ever since.
Im stilling willing to do more for my daddy. He loved driving that car than any other car he ever touched. I feel bad for taking it. sad
Well thats me and my story, just create some bond, trust, and make them feel like they owe you something.

anybody tht gets a car solely based on grades is just spoiled, wat happened to ppl earning wat have?

i know a kid who got a brand new 2009 dodge challenger srt-8 for graduating. Just graduating, not getting straight a's. Graduating.
That makes it his THIRD car. He has no job. He's also going to wyotech which makes me feel better about his spoiledness.

get into a university not too far away from home, but not too close lol
but really, you would feel much more satisfied buying the car yourself
it would feel more like it's yours
