How do i get my parents to buy me a car, my grades are good A,B honor roll,i work so i can pay for gas and half the car insurance,but i dont have my license i can get it whenever but chose not to since i dont have a car.I need a car for college in the fall but i really want a car before i graduate.

just buy it yourself, I personally think good grades don't merit a car, freshman year of college i drove my dad's extra acura he had, but didn't feel right since it wasn't mine, plus i didn't like it so saved up 15k and bought me another one this year (sophomore).

Depends on what year S13's run fairly cheap. S14's on the other hand aren't so common and depending on the condition of the car can cost you some money...S15 on the other hand well |0 throw that out the window...

at least start by actually getting the license, what are you going to do with a car if you don't even have a license to drive? at least that shows to your parents that you really want a car, imo if you don't even bother to get the license you don't deserve a car

I got my license the same month I turned 16.

Now I'm saving up for a car. So far, $400.

This one kid at my school is in the same situation, except yesterday his parents just bought him a $5000 car. I'm applying for jobs everywhere, damn US economy...

If you want a car so bad, don't have your parents buy it.

Best case scenario, involving parents, is to have them lend some cash in the pot too.

If you want a car, then you want a car. You can find a decent reliable Civic for $1500 these days, and that's like a 92-95 chassis. If you want a newer one, save up some more and ask your parents to add some in.

Also, get your license first. Then you can actually put the car to use.
