This guy in Japan thought my friend was Mel Gibson (looks nothing like him), so he insisted on giving my friend his shirt - and started bowing and shit. Then ran away screaming how lucky he was.

Erm, whereabouts in Japan are you going?
It's pretty vague to just say Japan. The major cities are completely different to each other.
