Well what's your definition of 'cheapish'? Give us a budget.

SP1 has a range of quality denim, from cheapish Lee and Wrangler (probably less than $200) to the more expensive Levi's Vintage Clothing (LVC) and Edwin (starting at about $250 and could go upto $400-500).

[another]" also has LVC, as well as the Australian-operated Imperial Denim, which are made in Queensland using quality Japanese denim. Also they have the WESC (WeAreTheSuperlativeConspiracy) jeans from Europe as well. Imperial's starts at around $270 and im not too sure about the rest....

APC, Nudie, Ksubi and Paper Denim are probably pretty expensive to the average Joe who goes to uni so they wont get a mention....but if you really do want to save up, then Jeans West and other good fashion store would stock normal/generic Levi's 501 etc, also Mooks and Mossimo woulod probably have something that fits your budget and wallet.....

I think fluoro is done well by brands like Schwipe and Ksubi but brands like Travisty and Stevie are really awful with no thought or logic put into their designs.

No matter who produced it or how well it is produced, it's still FLURO, and thats where the problem really lies.

But I guess if it's from a really respected brand (eg: Ksubi), people may accept it easier since they could just say "these are made by xxx....they are not stevie!" but deep down they still look pretty much like shit....just that their shit is more expensive.

each to it's own I guess.

I'll just walk away, shake my head in disgust and giggle to myself imagining on what would they feel abt themselves when they reflect back at their teenage years.

I would definitely love to see how Corey would reflect on himself 30 years from now.

im from Brisbane, and i just gotta say that this shit is in full effect up here too. I guess we are dealing with a national problem here gentlemen.

Just answer me this: When did it become cool for straight dudes to dress like bitches?

It's in full effect in every city on the East Coast. Dont know abt the West Coast though....usually they are years behind in trends.

I think the whole thing just didnt pop up suddenly - it gradually grew into the minds of people starting with wearing tight jeans like ksubi, then the popularity of the neon Supre and Cotton On tees for girls and then it spreaded like a wild fire.....

Perth fashion is ridiculous too. razz

This shit is the same everywhere around Australia, most noticeable in the Summer time though. Guess they think it's "cool" to look all bright, colourful and alike with massive pointless slogans plastered all over themselves.

Wow I cannot agree with you guys more. I lived in California till I was in 10th grade, and my parents decided to go to Australia due to political reasons, Australia has more health care, more jobs, etc.

When I came here the first thing I thought was GAY?

I mean I come in with my "American style" or just style compared to australia, and everyone here in wearing outside what I would pretty much sleep in. Thongs, barefoot, short above their kneecaps, 5 year old faded shirts..

Style is dead here. I wish I was back in the West Coast..

P.S I find it funny how everyone here is white, just saying

I don't know about west coast US weather, but I think Sydney has pretty good weather.

Hong Kong and Tokyo, in comparison, are stupidly humid - the weather can be like 27C (which is fine in Syd), but in HK or more likely, Tokyo, you'd be sweating and wanting a change of clothes...
