I experienced similiar incedents in sydney during australia day. I think the day has little meaning other than a day off to booze up. Anyways other than that 1 negative experienced i loved my time in melb so decided to extend it until wednesday.

I tried to get it as well but no hope. A mate of mine told me that they would be playing in Melbourne but i think he lied lol =[. Damn that sucks bad if that's true Rhapsody.

They won't be in Melbourne unless it's some secret gig for media and industry reps.

Someone off Strictly Supreme from Sydney got tickets. I'm hitting up people I know that handled the tickets and trying to get a few but not having much luck. I wouldn't be surprised if the rumours were right, still can't believe the show sold out in 10 mins considering not that many people here know about them. Regardless the show will be good but the crowd is gonna be utter shit except when "Goblin" and "Sandwitches" come on; can't imagine most people will know the lyrics to most of their stuff - nor will they know anyone else but Tyler haha.

Only thing I am spewing about now is uni exam timetable, I tend to get fked over each semester with my luck of the draw.

These prices are fucking ridiculous, $210 for a ticket is crazy.

Crowd will be utter shit, a handful of actual fans and the rest just hipsters, kids that only know Odd Future via Tumblr and those that got free tickets. Oh and expecting to see kids in head to toe Box Logos.

With that said, anyone got any recommendations for hotels around the $200 mark? Something close to the Opera House would be nice but in the general CBD is good too.
