i was in Beijing last year, apart from touristing thing you should do is enjoy some duck! in terms of shopping i didn't run across a great deal, but the main shopping street, forget the name, has some big brands but nothing special. Xi Dan mall is pretty cool ( i dunno how to get there, got driven, but it's quite central ), couple of floors of cool stuff above all the fake shoe selling, budget shit. Some really nice local designers have cool stores there, its worth checking out....

there are no sneaker places in china or any streetwear stores in beijing.

i was born there. Honestly if ur not from there its hard to give directions, u should just go to the tourist attractions. And enjoy the food

What kind of LAZY a## response is that. Its like saying you might as well not go shopping in Japan cause your not from there.

beijing = place of fakes.

better stay away from buying kicks there but i did buy a pair of fake jordans to wear in Beijing just for the heck of not getting my real SB's dirty! probbly only thing i will buy in bejing is socks. Cant beat a pair of fake nike socks for 2RMB *under 20cents canadian*!

i have friends that live there, they speak the language.
They are girls so they dont know anything about where to get kicks. So if you give me the name of the area or the name of the store I will be able to find them.

The shopping game is weak in Beijing, but the Great Wall of China is a great place to visit and take pictures.

However, if you are ever so lucky to get out to Hong Kong, I'd recommend hitting Causeway Bay and central Hong Kong, the streetwear scene out there is endless!
