D40?

I'm starting a promotions company, so I'll be needing a camera soon. I'm also doing a clothing line so I can take my own pictures for that. Would a D40, be good for both of these? I know I would probably need another flash, but would the camera itself be good for what I'm trying to use it for?

yes, it will be good enough. From what I remember... it's 6 Megapixels but the camera itself puts out great images. If you're just taking regular clothing pics and nothing extravagant, ur good

the d40 should be sufficient, you will need a nice lighting set up if you want to take nice product shots though.

D40 is good, but I say get a D80 it has a built in lens motor
