What type of cable do you use to hook up your mac to your HDTV?

You'll need a MiniDP adapter I believe.
You can use the Moshi Mini DP to HDMI adapter then just use a hdmi cable and plug it into your tv/monitor if it has an hdmi output(that's what I did). Or a Mini DP to VGI or VGA adapter if it doesn't. You can find the adapters under Cables on the Apple store website.

a lot of my friends room with people...spliting rent makes it a lot more affordable. (well obviously) And they all pretty much used craigslist...

there's a lot of options if you check out craigslist. like search "bachelor's pad" or like "studio apartment" or even a "1 bedroom apartment"
Here a bachelor's pad is usually around the $800-1400 range...depending on location ....but it's Vancouver and housing prices are always a bitch.

you could also search maybe some listings for your city...
many 2 bedrooms around my area go for around 800-1100 per month. (including den, living room, kitchen, etc)

I'm a tidy dude so my room it's never messy (maybe I throw shoes on the floor and clothes on my bed sometimes .... but I like to keep my room clean overall )
