babyshoe, no offense, but it kinda annoys me how all of your shots are taken with a fisheye lens. Is that just what you use as a walkaround lens?

its the widest lens I currently have. I just sold my 50mm 1.8. I like distortion so it makes it out of my bag quite often.

Ahh, word. What other lenses do you have? And I know about the whole wide thing. I'm a superwide junkie. I see a 10-20mm in the near future for meeee.

14-24mm is next up for me. I have a 18-200vr, a 10.5 fisheye, and some shitty kit lens that came on my F4. I'm thinking about picking up a 105mm but I don't know if I'll like the focal length better than I like the 50mm. I just hated composing shots with it, idk why. Knowing me, I'll probably pick one up again soon.

Make-shift lightbox on my dorm desk. Just playing around. Trying to figure out how to get the separation from the watch and the background, especially in the upper left part of the watch.

don't use as wide of an aperature and focus somewhere in the middle of the face of the watch. I know canons used to have depth of field modes to do that for you automatically. Worked kindof cool the times I played with them. I really have no idea how to do it on a nikon.

WGMeets, that first photo would look so much nicer without the airplane wing. Kind of distracts from the whole photo; it's just sticking out from out of nowhere. How'd you get your photo to look like that if you shot it from a plane window? Mine all look greycast and dull because of the windows and sky.
