Is it the nikon 70-200mm or Canon? Is his the IS?
Hahaha i spose your right, what does he photograph?

Its the nikor 70-200mm 2.8. He honestly bought it when I was playing football, I don't think he uses it at all anymore. Its fun to shoot cars with it or snyping cool Car pictures are my thing. I might be getting some of my pictures in as print ads. We'll see if they could use any of them.

a pic from today. I think I should start walking around with my 50mm.

if your gonna get 55-200 pay a bit more and make sure to get the vr.
but you should get the 50mm 1.8 such a cost efficient lense.

2 questions, what is vr? and doesnt the 18-55mm kit lens cover 50mm or am i not understanding something...

thanks

its a super crisp lens, your kit lens isn't. also the 50mm is super cheap, 90 bucks online. And like the person above said, it gets really wide so y ou can shoot at faster speeds and get a lower depth of field.

so it will be good for close up shots, like portraits right? what about landscape shots? should i get a 50-250mm is telephoto lens aswell? i dont even know what i would use it on? birds ? whats the point of a telelphoto lens anyway?

i appreciate the answers, it really helps me out since i am just entering the realm of photography.

thanks guys smile
