^ it's a full frame camera. EF-S lenses sit too close and obstruct the mirror reflex. Also, even if you were able to fit an EF-S lense it wouldn't expose the full area of the sensor

d90 just got murked

not really if you consider the price bracket each camera is aimed at. the rrp on the 5Dii is nearly 3x the D90

fuck why the 1/200th sync speed?

man i'm disappointed , should of had atleast 6fps, more AF points and a better focusing system..

and 22mp is gonna be a pain if all you shoot is 4bit RAW @ 22MP, your lookin at around 50 MB per file..

well looks like it was made for portraits and studio photographers, mainly

^ agree about the sync speed.

To be honest, I never really expected TOO much of an upgrade. The hype got me at the time, I must admit.

Really though, this is good news no matter what for those looking to jump to full frame bodies. There is now the choice of spending more and getting a great body with some newer (albeit, some are gimmicky) features or purchasing a 5D for a knock-down price.

As a photojournalist in this day and age you have to not only know how to shoot stills, you need to know video as well if you plan on working for any media. So for me its great the the two are being integrated together.
